How the PVR took flight
Our team started creating the PVR during the market boom of 2021 and 2022. It was generated out of necessity. Historically, when evaluating an asset’s value, you look in the rearview mirror at recently sold comps to determine value. However, we were living in a market in which each transaction was surpassing the previous. We struggled to look our customers in the eye and tell them to pay $X for an aircraft when its comp value wasn’t at that level. As a result, the PVR was born. The goal with the PVR is to rank the entire Pilatus market by value.
